Tigers
Roar to Finals Glory!
Balmain Tigers
have roared into the Grand Finals race with a great hit out at Leichhardt
Oval HQ last Saturday arvo with the little Cottontail Bunnies.
Skipper Luke
Dead-Eye Milton booted the Tigers to an early lead from a penalty
goal to be followed up with another three over the little black
dot as the Balmain boys romped to a 20-10 half time unbeatable lead.
Bronson Harrison
showed more toe than a roman sandal as he raced over for the first
of his two tries and backed up by tries to Leigh Bowman and Brett
Kelly.
Balmains
Tiger Cubs were a sparkling example to Tim Sheens Big Boys over
in Kiwiland who followed suit by whacking the local yokels 16-4
in their second half encounter with two tries to livewire hooker
Robbie Mears followed by John Wilson and the extras from the boot
of Luke Covell.
John Wilsons
try set a new club record of 16 tries for the season breaking Joel
Caines former 15 tries fiesta set three years ago.
Balmains
Harold Matthews squad were on hand Saturday at HQ to form a guard
of honour as their big brothers ran onto the sacred soil of Leichhardt
for the last time this season prior to their grand final surge.
Premier League
coach Peter Camroux takes his red blooded Balmain Tigers to the
Hot Air Capital this Friday night to knock the stuffing out of the
minor premier Faders on the road to premiership honours.
Then all back
to the Tigers Den to celebrate. See ya there.
