Christine honoured

Christine Vorst has seen a lot of things come and go in the past ten years as Electoral Officer for John Watkins - but she’s not finished yet.

To acknowledge her decade of service to John Watkins’ Office, Christine was honoured with a certificate from NSW Parliament.

Christine began working for Mr Watkins’ office in 1995 while he was the member for Gladeville. When John won the battle for the Ryde electorate he and his team moved to their current location on Blaxland Road.

“It’s been a very interesting 10 years but it has been a privilege to work for John and the people of Ryde,” Christine said.

Christine plans to continue working for Mr Watkins’ office for “as long as he’ll have me.” She was presented with a Stuart crystal vase and taken to lunch by Mr Watkins at Parliament House.
