GLOBAL WARMING? Climate Change? Bulldust!

How many of our readers have accepted the scaremonger propaganda of the professional armageddon pedlars of global warming and that the end is nigh?

Believe me, it’s the greatest load of old fashioned bulldust ever that keeps rearing its ugly looney head every century or so.

All this crazy talk is sponsored, fed and spread by ratings mad daily media – print and electronic – because they believe bad news sells.

How many of the “silent majority” of scientists and economists who refute the outrageous doomsayers, who are mainly funded by you and me through Government grants, do you ever hear from?

We don’t have debate about climate change, only dogma and misinformation.

I would like to open up this important debate among readers of The Weekly Times who are among the most articulate and well informed in the country and should have a say in how governments, local, state and federal spend our hard earned dollars.

I’d certainly be interested in hearing from you.

Equally, what do you think about the ridiculous State Government plan to go ahead with an enormously expensive desalinisation plant at Kurnell?

This should not be a last resort. It should not be a resort at all.

We should tell our MPs and candidates what we think and believe. We encourage you to tell them through the columns and pages of your local Independent local newspaper.
