ROMAC fundraiser

A ROMAC (Rotary Oceania Medical Aid for Children) is being held on Friday September 5 at North Ryde RSL. Cost is $75 and includes a three-course meal, plus drinks. DRUMMOYNE

Dale Larsen (pictured) was recently appointed president of the Rotary Club of Drummoyne, taking over from Ron Sadler. Ms Larsen becomes the 57th president of the club, and only the second female president. Other office bearers for 2008/09 elected at the recent changeover dinner were: Robert Kirby (administration), Dr Iain Stuart (public relations), Norman West (treasurer), Ann Koutts (secretary), Kaye Loder (membership), Jane Cummins-Stuart (child protection officer and service projects), and Lorraine West (fundraising).

On the night, Federal Sex and age Discrimination Commissioner Elizabeth Broderick, former member and Paul Harris Fellow Warwick Williams, and Dr Hilary Lloyd, were inducted as ‘Friends of Rotary’.
