Milestone for Carmel & Cecil

Popular Ryde residents Carmel and Cecil Witton (pictured) will celebrate their Golden Wedding anniversary this Saturday with family and friends.

The couple were married in St John’s Church Balmain on September 20, 1958 and have lived in the Ryde district since 1960. Cecil was a talented centre with the Rozelle Codocks club in Balmain Junior League during the 1950s while Carmel spent 40 years in nursing at Balmain, Royal Prince Alfred and Ryde Hospitals. They have two daughters Kerry and Julie.
