Two new Political Parties Formed

Two new political parties have been formed to seek election in the upper houses of State and Federal parliaments at forthcoming elections.

They are the Climate Sceptics Party to stand in both State and Federal elections and the No Parking Meters Party to stand in NSW.

Both parties are seeking members.

No Parking Meters Party was established in February 2006 by the first Mayor elected to the City of Randwick in 1990 Councillor Charles Matthews. He was re-elected as a No Parking Meters Party candidate at last year’s local government elections when South Sydney star footballer Craig Wing was on his ticket.

Charles Matthews invites interested people to contact him on 0424 096 017 or visit the membership stand at the Maroubra Seals Club or visit www.noparkingmetersparty.org or write to NPMP at PO Box 4054 South Maroubra NSW 2035 and all documentation will be forwarded along with a stamped self addressed envelope.

Mr Matthews says the NPM Party holds the State Government responsible for the legislaltion imposing parking meters on the public and will lobby for the removal of parking meters in NSW on taxpayer funded roads.

The Climate Sceptics Party can be contacted on http://www.climatesceptics.com.au/
