All can join in the Good Friday Walk

The Way of the Cross Good Friday Walk through Hunters Hill on April 2 - which is open to all - offers those taking part an ideal chance to reflect on the meaning of Easter.

The walk begins at All Saints’ Anglican Church, Ferry Street at 10.15am.
After a symbolic ‘Last Supper’ scene in the church, the walk proceeds to the Villa Maria (Holy Name of Mary) Catholic Church, Mary Street walking through the Hunters Hill Club grounds, Congregational Church and St Joseph’s Hostel.

At each of these stops, young people from the district will enact a scene from the Easter story.
Everyone is welcome to participate in the one-hour walk - rain, hail, or shine - organised by the Anglican, Catholic, Congregational, Presbyterian and Uniting churches.

Afterwards tea and Cross biscuits will be provided at Villa Maria and lifts can be arranged back to cars parked near All Saints.

For more information phone Adrienne Ryan 9817 5884 or 9817 5892 or the All Saints’ Anglican Church office on 9817 2167.
