College launches its cookbook
St Joseph’s College Hunters Hill headmaster Ross Tarlinton celebrates the launch of cookbook Contende with co-editors Tracey Tanous and Susan Glenn. TWT on-the-spot PHOTO Despite wet weather former St Joseph’s College students, their parents and friends and guests recently turned up for the launch of the cookbook Contende, developed by the P&F. Those attending the Lunch on the Lawn event tasted a number of the recipes from the cookbook, the production of which involved the help of more than 350 people. The book features recipes and stories from past and present families and staff reflecting on their years at the college. Contende was officially launched by Marie Field whose children - former St Joseph’s College students - are members of the Wiggles, Cockroaches and John Field Band. Mrs Field was active at the school in the ‘70s and ‘80s and submitted many recipes for the book. For more information on Contende visit www.joeys.org/news |
