Kip McGrath helps students reach full potential
The Kip McGrath Education Centre at 1/33 West Parade Eastwood has had a change of ownership.
We interviewed the Director of the Company, that has acquired the business, and Centre Manager Jeanette De Marchis (pictured).
Jeanette has over 20 years experience as a Secondary Maths and Science Teacher and says that she and her business partner had extensively researched the Tutoring Market in Sydney over the past 12 months.
They decided that the Kip McGrath Business Model and more importantly the Kip McGrath philosophy, methods and processes, offered the best opportunity to help students achieve their full potential in the critical subjects on Mathematics and English.
Jeanette was pleased to have the opportunity to acquire the Eastwood operation and spent the first school term of 2016 working in the Centre, becoming familiar with the needs of the students and parents and with the Kip McGrath techniques and processes.
Since acquiring the business, she has invested in rebranding and redecorating the Centre as well as additional computers and furniture.
This has increased both the capacity of the Centre and the learning experience for the students.
In addition, the Centre is now offering two Tutoring sessions each day – one at 4 pm and another at 5.30pm Monday to Friday each week.
Jeanette believes that Tutoring is the ideal way to help students to remedy any shortfalls that they might have encountered in their schooling.
It gives students the opportunity to go back and fill in any gaps in their knowledge.
The starting point for new students and parents is a Free Assessment which identifies the strengths and areas for improvement of potential students.
Based that assessment improvement goals are agreed between Kip McGrath and the students and parents.
Then individual lesson plans are designed to enable each student to over time improve and to achieve his or her goals.
Jeanette is looking forward to becoming part of the Eastwood Business Community, as well as enabling the students of Eastwood and surrounding areas achieve their educational potential.
Interested parents and students are welcome to visit and inspect the Centre and of course to book in for a FREE assessment. Phone 9874-6982.
