A Community Briefing to launch this year’s Harbour Sculpture exhibition in Clarke’s Point will be held tonight (Wednesday) at The Pavillion in The Woolwich Pier Hotel, 2 Gale Street in Woolwich.

The community meeting will reveal details of where and when the sculptures will be on display as well as the sculptors involved.

“Harbour Sculpture is coming back to Clarke’s Point!” even organisers announced today.

“This year’s exhibition will be bigger than ever, displaying sculptures created by more than 100 Australian artists.”

The Grand Opening Day will be Thursday March 16 and artist tours will be held weekdays at 11.30am and on weekends at 11.30 am and 2.30pm.

There will be children’s activities which include a treasure hunt from 10am to 3pm on weekends and children’s activities kits can be obtained from the information stall.

The Peoples Choice Award will be presented on Sunday April 2.

“This popular event will run over three weeks from March 16 and will provide exciting opportunities for local businesses, community groups and volunteers who would like to get involved.”
