Tigers Shellshock Hush Puppies in Anzac Day Clash!

Anzac spirit was alive and thriving with the Tigers when they thrashed the HushPuppies in a thriller at ANZ arena on Sunday.

Victory was all the sweeter after a week of turmoil over the Tigers “Big Four” contract discussions.

Skipper Aaron Woods defied the odds when he played a man of the match performance ably backed by Parra heading Mitch Moses with a five star effort by Teddy Tedesco.

However, praise must be heaped on Luke Brooks returning from injury who masterminded the winning try for Kevin Naiqama which combined with David Nofoaluma’s opening try and Mitch Moses’s magic boot of five goals from six attempts resulted in a 18-12 victory lap.

All roads lead to Leichhardt Oval HQ this Saturday arvo for the Tigers second genuine home game of the year when they host reigning premiers Gummy Sharks.

Should be a beauty. Make sure you get along and cheer the Tigers for another victory.

See ya there.
