EPPING residents hoping to escape from the summer heat will be thrilled to learn that Epping Aquatic Centre Pool at Dence Park was opened last Saturday.

The pool will be open until April 15, 2018 with parking off Stanley Road on Mondays to Fridays from 5.30am until 7.45 pm and on weekends from 7am until 6.45 pm.

It will now be open on Anzac Day from noon until 7pm, on Christmas Eve from 5.30am until 5pm and on New Year’s Day from 9am until 7pm.

It will be closed on Christmas Day and Good Friday.

The pool’s facilities include a six lane, 50 metre outdoor pool, a covered toddler’s play pool, change rooms and showers.

Patrons can also be refreshments at the Aquatic Centre snack bar.

The Aquatic Centre may have limited lap swimming lanes available due to swimming programs, carnivals and events and visitors are asked to check pool lanes space and make bookings via the website www.cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au/recreation-environment/sports-facilities/swimming/pool-lanes-space – or call ahead for updated pool availability on 9806 5633

This summer’s entry fees are six dollars for adults, $4.50 for children and concession card holders.

Family tickets are available at costs of $28, $20 and $19 with the new adult 20 Visit Pass for $108.

The student 20 Visit Pass and the Child Visit Pass are both $81 each.

The pool had been closed due to structural problems and associated repair work and is now under the control of the City of Parramatta Council.
