COMMUNITY Heart Health Care have organised a Heart Simposium event on Wednesday March 8 at Gladesville RSL Community Club from 9.30am.

Come and join the group for morning tea in the Gladesville RSL auditorium for a presentation by Professor Geoffrey Tofler on “New Approaches to Prevent Heart Disease.”

Prof Tofler has had 20 years experience as a clinical consultant cardiologist. He worked for 13 years at Harvard Medical School Hospital in Boston, before returning to Royal North Shore Hospital as a Senior Staff Specialist. His particular cardiology expertise is in prevention of heart disease, and the management of heart failure. Geoffrey is also widely regarded in Australia and internationally for his research work in the causes of heart attack. He is currently Medical Director of the Management of Cardiac Function program and Medical Director of North Shore Heart Research Foundation. This is a Community Heart Health Care Program to assist community awareness in the prevention of cardio vascular diseases and strokes.
