8th annual Romantics Art Exhibition – for lovers of traditional art – takes place during the weekend of Friday August 25 to Sunday August 27 in Hunters Hll Town Hall.
Quality paintings by Werner Filipich, James Hough, Ian Hansen, Max Manix and Ramon Ward-Thompson will be on exhibition including Australian landscapes, scenes from life in the outback, wildlife, marine art and cityscapes of Sydney Paris and London.
It was a shared love of fine traditional paintings that brought these five artists together over 30 years ago and now after long and successful careers as professional artists they come together once a year at Hunters Hill to not only exhibit their work and promote the joys of traditional art but also to support and promote awareness of the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, a non-profit organisation that supports cancer suffers and those who care for them.
PICTURED in Ian Hansen’s studio displaying some of the paintings that will be on exhibit include artists Ramon Ward-Thompson, Werner Filipich (seated) and Ian Hansen.
Last year they raised close to $10,000 for the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse.
Admission is free and all are welcome. Exhibition hours: Friday from 6pm; Saturday and Sunday 10am to 5pm. You can also get more information www.romanticsfineartexhibition.com.au or phone 0419993237.
