Taronga Zoo adventures

Five TWT readers have won family passes to Sydney’s famous Taronga Zoo during the summer school holidays.

The winners are: Nathan McShane, Drummoyne; Claudia Trewartha, Lane Cove; Mikah Costello, Ryde; Heath Abercrombie, Meadowbank and Nick Tattis of Ermington.

Young Zoo explorers will be able to keep cool with Taronga Zoo animals, swing around the treetops, enjoy Sydney’s ultimate sleepover with Roar and Snore and even fly to Sumatra.

Families can also enjoy a summer holiday in Indonesia by stepping into Sumatra at Taronga Zoo Sydney’s Tiger Trek.

With the opening of Junior Wild Ropes course for children aged 3 years and over, the whole family can take on the exciting challenge of swinging between obstacles high above TarongaÕs Australian walkabout.

This spectacular outdoor activity overlooks the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House and will have the whole family navigating more than 60 obstacles over 90 minutes while spotting koalas, kangaroos, emus and wallabies.
