Community members have supported the policy announced last week by One Nation Leader Senator Pauline Hanson and reported in The Weekly Times.
She is promising to reduce the tariff on cigarettes by 75 percent as opposed to Labor’s budget announcement of a further tax increase.
She claimed the increase was counter productive and instead of reducing smokes was in fact furthering the black market criminal involvement.
And her announcement was supported by Labor NSW Premier Chris Minns and federal Liberal leader Angus Taylor.
