CONGRATULATIONS TO all the category winners and participants of the 2026 Hunters Hill Spring Garden Competition on your outstanding effort.
Proudly sponsored by Binet Homes and presented by the Rotary Club of Hunters Hill in partnership with the council, the competition continues to showcase the gardens and streetscapes that contribute to Hunters Hill’s reputation as Australia’s oldest garden suburb.
Spring is a wonderful time to discover the beautiful gardens that make our community so special.
I encourage residents and visitors to attend the Spring Garden Open Day on Sunday, November 1, from 10am to 3.30pm, where this year’s winning gardens and a selection of showcase gardens will be open to the public.
As part of the day, the council’s Bushcare team will host a guided walk and talk through Kelly’s Bush at 11am, sharing the site’s history while highlighting the valuable restoration work undertaken by volunteers.
Tickets are $30, with all funds raised supporting the restoration of the historic stone stairs at Kelly’s Bush.
A free shuttle bus will operate from Hunters Hill Town Hall to assist visitors travelling between participating gardens.
