Chess makes kids smarter

-

DID YOU know that along with building patience, playing chess is in a class of its own when it comes to helping your child improve their attention span and ability to focus on one activity for an extended period of time?

Children aged eight years and older are invited to join the Kids Chess Club at Eastwood Library for some fun and strategic games to sharpen their skills!

Whether your child is a beginner or wants to level up their chess skills, they are welcome to participate and learn new strategies.

A friendly instructor from the NSW Junior Chess League, will guide them through games and help improve their skills.

It’s on Thursdays from October 22, 4-5pm, at Eastwood Library.

Cost is $10 with bookings essential at ryde.nsw.gov.au
